This past weekend I spent my time working to better understand how to use Off Camera Flash effectively. The workshop I attended was put on by Kurtis Kristianson of Spindrift Photography. While working on my photography skills I also had a tonne of fun thanks to all the ladies who were there! Thanks for a fantastic workshop Kurtis. I was so excited when I got the call from Carrie and Ken to do a Newborn Session for them. I was just thinking about it the other day and I have known Carrie for about 17 years. Wow is that ever a long time!! Carrie and I used to play clarinet in marching band together, and back in the day I’m sure neither one of us would have imagined I would be taking newborn photos for her! When I heard that you guys were expecting I was so incredibly happy for you! Brayden is such a little sweetheart and he is lucky to have you guys for parents. Thank you so much for letting me capture this amazing time in your lives!

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this little guy this past weekend, it really feels like we’ve been waiting for him to show up forever. He was a little unhappy with us to start but once his belly was nice and full he started to cooperate and thus began his modeling career! Congratulations you guys, your little man is perfect!!

Ryan and I met Ang and Pipes in our birth and babies class before the babies were born. We really had no idea what lied ahead of us! We have since spent a lot of time comparing notes and laughing so hard I thought I might pee myself. This last year has been an amazing experience and I am so glad that we have been able to go through it with you guys! I can’t believe how lucky we got with the beautiful light and weather for your family session, it was fantastic. Thank you for allowing me to help you remember this time in little Dean’s life, I was truly honored when you asked. Enjoy!!
